MINI MONSTERS SWARM TOMBALL FOR ANNUAL HALLOWEEN FESTIVAL

Thousands of miniature monsters converged on Tomball’s historic depot plaza recently for the City’s annual Zomball in Tomball festival.  More than 7,750 costumed kids and grown-ups filled the downtown festival grounds in search of free sweets from more than two dozen local businesses and organizations, spooky activities and a creepy movie under the stars at dark.

The haunted pirate galleon from Comfort Makers Air Conditioning was awarded Best Trunk-or-Treat display for the second year in a row.  Rows of cannons, a mast with a giant moving spider, and a skeleton pirate crew set this entry apart from the rest.

The remaining City signature festivals for 2017 include the Freight Train Food Truck Festival on October 21st, The Tomball Bluegrass Festival on October 28th, the Downtown Holiday Lamp Post Stroll beginning November  17th, and Christmas on Commerce on December 9th.

Tomball is just 28 miles northwest of downtown Houston on FM 2920 at State Highway 249.  Visit tomballtx.gov or “Tomball Texan for Fun” on Facebook for information.
